Happy Halloween from the 3rd grade!

November 1st-The Bismarck Fire Department

Our December engineering project-"Shelf for an Elf." The students had to create a "shelf" for their elf to sit on using only popsicle sticks and playdoh.

January-We have 9 crayfish in our classroom while we are studying the life cycle of living things.

For one of our Project Based Learning (PBL) projects this year, the 3rd graders have been studying weather. Part of the project included visiting KFYR as well as creating their own weather reports that incorporated some great technology!

Mayor Seminary came to visit the 3rd graders to provide some information on his job and the city of Bismarck. The class will use this information to help them write an essay on what they would do if they were the "Mayor for the Day."
